Data Analysis

Since Interface first began partnering with the NHS in 2004, we have witnessed a growth in the role of data. It is increasingly helping practices to manage their patients more effectively, interrogate data and optimise care as a result.

Recognising the influence of data and it’s potential, Interface have worked to provide additional resource in data analysis to support the NHS in delivering world-class patient care.

We provide intelligent data to all levels of the NHS, from detailed reporting on clinical review services, to highlighting opportunities for efficiencies, prevalence enhancement and strategic planning.

Below you’ll see some real-world examples of how our data analysis capabilities have helped to implement genuine change within primary care.

NICE shared learning

Interface is continually working with the NHS to deliver effective results and implement best practice. Using our project design and outcome data allows clinical programmes to be replicated across the UK, maximising the use of Interface’s national capacity to deliver improved patient care.

This has been acknowledged by NICE which has recognised Interface Clinical Services’ ability to implemented guidelines and quality standards across three key therapy areas, bone health, atrial fibrillation and diabetes on their shared learning platform.

NICE use this platform to share innovation and best practice across the NHS, showcasing examples of those using NICE guidance and standards to improve local health and social care services.

Safe and effective management of stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation in partnership with Sentinel Healthcare GP Federation.

Supporting the management of type 2 diabetes with pharmacist-led reviews and implementing NICE recommended nine key care processes in partnership with Slough CCG.

A case study on our work around lipid management and statin therapy with Cheshire Merseyside STP can be downloaded below.

The dashboard was created by Interface as part of the Cheshire & Merseyside Lipid commissioning for value programme. The programme stakeholders were Health & Care Partnership for Cheshire & Merseyside, North West Coast Strategic Clinical Network, North West Coast Academic Health Care Network Innovation Agency, and Salvera Services.
